These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services. By accessing this website and making a purchase, you agree to comply with these terms. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page.

We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of our products. However, the actual product may vary slightly in appearance due to variations in ingredients and preparation.

Opening Hours, Pickup & Delivery 🚚✨⏰
Pickup: You may choose to pick up your order at Cakeup HQ during our business hours.
IMPORTANT: Our Weekly Cut Off for orders placed via our online cake shop is Tuesday 10pm for pickups that weekend; Fri-Sun
Monday-Wednesday: CLOSED
Thursday: Custom Cake Orders Only, confirmed via email
Friday: 2-4pm sharp
Saturday: 8:30am-12:30pm sharp
Sunday: 9-11:30am sharp
Delivery: Delivery is available (to custom cake orders only, not online cake shop orders) within 30km of Cakeup HQ in Drummoyne for a flat rate fee of $50. Delivery times will be confirmed after your order is placed and are subject to availability outside of our kitchen pickup hours above. See our FAQ for more on this -
Damage During Transport
Any damage occurring due to your transport or mishandling after the cake leaves our address may be fixable at our discretion, depending on our availability. Please take extreme care when handling your order and check our cake care guide here for more
Cancellations and Refunds
Online Cake Shop Orders
Cancellation Fees: 4 Days or More Before Collection: If you cancel a purchase made via the online shop, we will refund the order as you have provided sufficient notice. within 72 of Collection: If you cancel a purchase made via the online shop, a we will refund the order (provided no products have been made) minus a $25 + GST processing fee. Within 24 hours of Collection: The full booking amount will be forfeited if you cancel your booking within 24 hours of your collection date.
Changes to Orders: All cancellations or changes must be in writing with sufficient notice during business hours. If you need to move your order date, you must notify us in writing with sufficient notice during business hours. The new date request is subject to our availability Thursday-Sunday, and we may not be able to carry over the deposit. In some cases, we may offer a 12 month credit to our digression.
No Shows: If you fail to show up for your requested cake collection time and date, we may not be available until the next business day for recollection. We cannot refund cakes that are not collected within business hours on your selected date and time. If we are required to open on a date outside of business hours for you to collect your forgotten order, you will be subject to a reopening fee of $35 at the agreed upon time slot. Failing to show for the second time will forfeit your full booking amount.
Custom Cake Orders
- Your order is not confirmed until a deposit is paid: A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order and the remaining amount due 10 business days prior to your event. If your event falls within 10 business days the full invoice amount is required to confirm your order.
- Non-Refundable 50% Deposit: Any cancellations of your confirmed, invoiced orders will result in the loss of your non-refundable deposit. We encourage you to reschedule where possible and enjoy a Cakeup creation at a later date.

No Refunds will be issued for Design Dissatisfaction: We want you to love your cake of course!! However Refunds for design, colour, or decoration dissatisfaction will not be accepted. Please communicate your design preferences clearly during the quoting process. We are very thorough in our custom quotes and involve you every step of the way. We like to think you have chosen Cakeup for a reason and that our styles align and you do trust us to use our creative expertise to create unique edible art just for you 🥹
Flavour Quality Concerns: If you are unsatisfied with the flavour quality of your cake and request a refund, this will be assessed at the discretion of the Cakeup team. In these circumstances, the cake must be returned to the premises within 1 day of collection for assesment. Please note: we use the finest ingredients at Cakeup HQ and nothing leaves our kitchen without our tick of approval; having been tasted as we bake for quality control purposes!
No Refunds for Consumed Products: Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund for a product that has been consumed.
